Window Panes Log Cabin

I have another finish to report. I made this floral (mostly calicos) log cabin quilt top in March 2006. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to quilt it. I really wanted circles, starting with small ones in center, gradually getting larger in each light and dark area. I just couldn't figure out how to do that on my DSM. Then a week or so ago I used a friend's long arm and just quilted it in a free style meander. I have loops, spirals and flowers.

Here is a close up of the quilting:

  1. Great job! Log cabins are one of my favorites....there's just so many possibilities.
