Design Wall Monday

I worked deligently on my Pineapple Nine Patch quilt this week.  I have all the unit 1s completed.  Cathy and Robin have posted their progress on the blog as well.

I'm setting my machine up to start machine quilting the Just String Series: Hot and Cold quilt that's been in the UFO pile for a loooong while.  We'll see how far I get.

  4. Pineapples are so much fun as are strippies. The colors in both are great.

  6. This is going to be such a bright and happy quilt. Looking forward to seeing it progress. And Congrats on getting out a UFO to finish. I have one that is currently speaking to me: better get at it soon before it starts yelling. lol

  7. Tea, you're number 2 on the DWM post! You must have been up early. I remember your hot and cold string quilt....it was the inspiration for the center of my Cards vs Cubs quilt I made although the only similarity is the alternating direction of strip blocks. Must have been UFO week because my crumb quilt called out to me to sew on the borders.......darn noisy quilts ;)
