I'm setting my machine up to start machine quilting the Just String Series: Hot and Cold quilt that's been in the UFO pile for a loooong while. We'll see how far I get.

Can't wait to see how that pineapple nine patch turns out. Love it so far. Great contrast on your string quilt.
ReplyDeleteI think its a great idea to do a project with your buds!! You can keep each other going that way! Love it!
ReplyDeleteIs this a pattern. you know I am looking for a strip pattern to enter in the challenge due in October. .....aughhhh!

Pineapples are so much fun as are strippies. The colors in both are great.
ReplyDeleteYour Pineapple quilt is incredible. I can't wait to see the finished quilt.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be such a bright and happy quilt. Looking forward to seeing it progress. And Congrats on getting out a UFO to finish. I have one that is currently speaking to me: better get at it soon before it starts yelling. lol
ReplyDeleteTea, you're number 2 on the DWM post! You must have been up early. I remember your hot and cold string quilt....it was the inspiration for the center of my Cards vs Cubs quilt I made although the only similarity is the alternating direction of strip blocks. Must have been UFO week because my crumb quilt called out to me to sew on the borders.......darn noisy quilts ;)
ReplyDeleteGood job getting the UFO out!! I love the pineapple progress. I love seeing it as it grows.
ReplyDeleteLove the Pineapple blocks. Shades of red always makes for a striking quilt.
ReplyDeleteThe pineapple blocks are looking great. Good job!
